Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it and how to delete it.

Effective Sep 1, 2026 · Version 2026-09-01 · Last updated Sep 15, 2026

1. Data we collect

  • Account profile: name, email address and avatar from your sign-in provider.
  • Shipment inputs: origins, destinations, supplier and warehouse locations, dates, container details and preferences.
  • Saved scenarios, comparisons and assistant conversations.
  • Usage and credit history: estimates run, credits spent and refunded.
  • Technical logs: request identifiers, IP address, browser type and error reports.

2. Why we use it

  • To produce estimates, save scenarios and run the assistant.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse and enforce credits and rate limits.
  • For billing, once paid credits are available.
  • To improve estimate quality and product reliability, using aggregated data where possible.

3. Processors

We share data only with processors that help us run the service:

  • Supabase: database and authentication.
  • Anthropic, directly or through AWS Bedrock: the AI assistant. Assistant conversations and the shipment details they contain are sent to Anthropic's Claude models, run either on Anthropic's own infrastructure or hosted on AWS Bedrock, to generate answers. Street addresses are reduced to city and country first.
  • Mapping and geocoding providers: map tiles and location lookups.
  • Error monitoring (Sentry): diagnostic data when something fails.
  • Hosting (Amazon Web Services EC2).
  • A payment processor, once paid credits are enabled.

4. Retention

  • Account data is kept while your account exists.
  • Assistant conversations are deleted 180 days after their last activity.
  • Credit and audit records are kept for accounting and security, with your identity removed after account deletion.
  • Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days.

5. Your choices

  • Delete your account from the account page. Your workspace data is removed and your sign-in is disabled immediately.
  • Request an export of your data by writing to support@freightplanner.dev.
  • Correct profile details through your sign-in provider.

6. International transfers

Our processors may store data in the United States and other countries. Where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
